The Truth Will Set You Free

You have the option to choose YOURSELF every day!

Be Honest With Yourself

The thing I've realized over the last few years is how easy it is to go with the flow, and not ruffle any feathers. One of the easiest lies you can tell yourself is, "It's fine."

But how long is "fine" or "good enough" going to be ENOUGH? I believe we were placed on this Earth to fulfill our unique, exceptional purpose. And I've found that means I need to be at my peak of self-awareness and confidence if I'm going to be successful.

The Facts Will Set You Free

The most important thing to understand is that you need to accept the facts of where you are, and let go of any shame, guilt, or uncomfortable feelings you may have when you see them in black and white. Once you release these negative feelings, you can assess what is true currently, and create a plan for what you WANT to be true. You have to know where you are in order to get where you're going.

Here's the second part to this: you must be willing to acknowledge that there are things that you'd like to change. That you look at your relationships and understand you may WANT deeper connections. What would that look like? See that your career is in a place of complacency and that you may WANT GROWTH. How would it feel to be where you want to be at your job--or is there something else entirely that you'd like to do?

Get Ready to Feel Uncomfortable

Once you realize where things need to change, you have to prepare for the fact that others may not like the changes you're making. That's ok--just understand that if YOU don't show up for yourself, you will not be able to create an impact on anyone else in your life. And it will feel uncomfortable. Especially if you're like me, and don't want to seem ungrateful for where you are currently. It's absolutely ok to want more, to do more, and to be more. Own it, and honor it.

Where Does NBR® Fit In?

As a Licensed NBR® Artist, I've learned to use several tools throughout my education with the DKW Styling Academy. One of these is called the Fact Map, and it literally creates space for you to write your current facts, how you feel about them, and what you'd like to change about them. Simple, straightforward, manageable. The hardest part is being honest with yourself.

As an NBR® guest, I've seen the power that choosing yourself can have on a woman. New careers, new relationships, newfound confidence to create the life you truly want to live...I'm actual living proof that anything is possible! For me, it started with the CHOICE to make myself a priority in my own life.

If you've been following me for awhile, you may have seen some of these shifts in the stories I've shared. How about you give yourself the chance to change your own story? I invite you to learn more about why I do what I do by watching my mini movies. Tap here to begin.
