The most believable hair extensions are the ones that you don’t ever even realize exist. One of the most powerful tools I have when it comes to creating a beautiful, believable extension transformation is my mastery of color. I have worked for years honing my skills in color theory and application…but the real difference I have found is that I take the time to connect with my clients and listen to the things that are important to them.

I find out what they do for fun, what their family dynamics feel like, how heavy their work load is at their job and at their home. I listen to the things that have frustrated them about their hair, what worries them about the changes they’ve seen in the mirror. And then I help them step into the most confident era of their lives. 

Yes, with color and hair extensions. And I make it really, really enjoyable.

Kaitlin has been a client at Strands for a few years now. We started her growth journey not out of frustration, but because she wanted to maximize her potential and experiment with changing her style. She wanted to see what all the hype was about. And she’s been hooked ever since.

She’s got a lot of density, and her hair grows well. But because she loves to be blond, her face framing pieces tend to stay a bit shorter than the rest of her hair. But more than that—SHE LOVES HER HAIR BEST WHEN SHE’S WEARING TWO ROWS OF LUSCIOUS HAIR EXTENSIONS.

She loves that she can wash and style her hair one time a week, and her style stays gorgeous until the next week. All the effort on that one day gives her a week of bouncy locks without wasting any time getting on with her busy mornings. Either working out with her personal trainer, or running her successful real estate and property management business…she doesn’t want to worry about her hair. 

And the funniest thing happens whenever she posts a photo or steps out into public: people literally stop what they’re doing to tell her how gorgeous she is and that her hair is amazing. And not a single person has ever realized they were extensions. It is the greatest compliment a stylist like me could ever receive. LOL
